Gramma’s House was born from a very personal place. My grandmother was always there for me, never missing a moment in my life, and she played a huge part in shaping who I am today. When it became clear that she needed some modifications to stay safe and comfortable in her own home, I took on that first renovation myself. It was an eye-opening experience, and I realized how many other families could benefit from similar updates to help their loved ones age in place.
That renovation at my grandmother’s house sparked the idea for Gramma’s House, a company dedicated to making homes safer for seniors so they can maintain their independence. With years of experience in real estate, construction, and property management, I’ve built a team that shares my passion for helping older adults stay in the homes they love.
Every project we take on at Gramma’s House is rooted in the same care and compassion I felt when working on my grandmother’s home. I’m committed to helping families give their loved ones the chance to age safely and with dignity, just as I did for my own Gramma.
Cassie Neu is the organizational force behind Gramma’s House, ensuring that every project runs smoothly and efficiently. With the vast array of products available on the market, her expertise in curating the best selections is vital to the success of each renovation. From safety features to design elements, Cassie cuts through the overwhelming number of options to select only the highest quality, most appropriate products for each home. Her thoughtful choices help transform spaces into both functional and beautiful environments for seniors.
In addition to managing the design and selection process, Cassie plays a key role in overseeing construction. She checks in regularly with both clients and the team, making sure everything stays on track—and that everyone involved is maintaining their sanity through what can be a stressful process. Her attention to detail and ability to keep everything organized ensures that every project meets the high standards that Gramma’s House is known for.
None of what we do at Gramma’s House would be possible without Cody Diehl. With over 20 years of experience in construction, Cody is truly a master craftsman whose work is second to none. His exceptional attention to detail and dedication to his craft ensure that every project is executed with the highest level of precision and quality.
Cody doesn’t just bring skill to the table—he brings an infectious positivity. Always in a good mood, Cody’s upbeat attitude keeps the team motivated and the process enjoyable for clients, even during the most challenging parts of construction. He has the unique ability to take a vision and transform it into a beautiful, functional, and safe space for seniors to live comfortably. Cody’s craftsmanship and optimism are the heart of Gramma’s House, delivering homes that meet the highest standards of safety, comfort, and beauty.
Though the least involved of the Gramma’s House team, Bill Neu Sr. plays an intricate role in the success of every project. As a former union electrician, Bill brings decades of expertise to the table, handling all electrical repairs with precision and care. Known for his incredibly high standards, Bill is often considered the most picky person alive—if a project passes his inspection, you know it’s of the highest quality.
Bill’s contributions often come with a light-hearted exchange; he volunteers his services for nothing more than a lunch or dinner in return. And for those lucky enough, like Cody Diehl, to be trusted with work on Bill’s own home, it’s considered a true honor—reserved for only the most skilled. His dedication and meticulous nature ensure that every project he touches is done to perfection.
